so the trailer 4 the new "reimagining" of Nightmare in Elm Street is out and i finally got around 2 watching it and i dont know...

i'm a big fan of the original Elm Streets (and A New Nightmare). Freddy Krueger is my horror movie hero, but im not sure how this'll turn out.

aside frm it being a remake/"reimagining" thing (which i havnt seen very many good 1s of lately)im so used to Robert Englund as Freddy that i'm not sure the change to Jackie Earle Haley (im a big fan of Jackie Earle Haley (he is an amazing actor) but after 8 movies (if u include Freddy vs Jason) w/ Robert Englund its jus not gonna b the same w/ Jackie Earle Haley (as awsome as he is)

THE reason (the really big reason) i dont think i'll c it is...

1) Michael Bay, was never really big on his wrk (and yes, i know he is producing NOT directing, but still). i respect wht he does and all (and the way he does it) but it jus doesn't wrk 4 me. (i almost likes The Rock though, until Michael Biehn got shot, a trillion times, aside frm that it was a pretty good movie though)

2) wht ever happened 2 writer/director Wes Craven? he's credited in the new 1 (obviously) because the characters were written by him but again, it's jus not gonna b the same **sigh**

3) and the last thinf (on Elm Street) is the director, Samuel Bayer. i dont recall hearing of him directing anything outside of music videos, now that's not 2 say that he hasn't, or that he wouldn't be good at it or anything, just thats what i've heard.

i think it's be intresting to see how this all wrks out, actully.
maybe i'll c it, i dont know yet lol. it doesn't come out until April 30th, 2010 so i've got LOTS of time 2 think bout it

moving on...

NOTHING will EVER be better than the original '87 Predator (when it comes to Predator movies i mean), w/ Dutch (Arnie Schwarzenegger), and Dillon (Carl Weathers), and BILLY! (BILLY! BILLY! BILLY! BILLY! BILLY!)(Sonny Landham)!! please please please remember that when the 2010 Predator remake comes out (ps i believe its gonna b called "Predators")

and finally...

ZOMBIELAND IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!! (i mean, it's not District 9 awsome, or Dark Knight awsome, but they're a different class of movie all together and can't really b compared to eachother. the point is it's EPIC! and sooo worth watchinga million time over!). predictable? alittle, but the movie goes about itself soooooo AMAZINGLY well that i have forgiven it's slight predictability. and dudes, Woody Harrelson's AWSOME!
((i miss Cheers :tears:)(but this movie has inspired me to finally get around 2 eating a Twinkie lol now all i've gotta do is find 1)).

seriously EPIC movie!!! must c it again. (oh!, and 2 all the ppl getting mad 'bout all the zombies running about, remember, please, that Zombie Curse zombies and Zombie Virus zombies are 2 completely different things, when it comes to zombies that is, lol). =P

ummmmm...ok.

i like comic books (mostly DC, but some Marvel too), movies, and music, art, and of course Michael Biehn :D
and Arnie (Schwarzenegger(in case u didn't know)) aswell.

iv got an apocalypse survival plan 4 just about everything inculding 4 zombie plans, a zillion ways 2 terminate terminators and every other cyborg i could think of (which is a lot), and a plan 4 zombie cyborgs from space lol. im still working on 2012 but i personally dont this it will happen and if it does then whtever, no point in wrrying about it now.

...ummm, my hero in life is Tim Burton and I WILL GET IN2 ANIMATION! (life goal (ps. Maya is sooooo much better than C4D!)) i wanna move to California after i've finished school and get in2 computer animation or special effects. i figure the movies are there so where better 2 go right? so, hopefully that'll wrk out.

fave song EVER, Cliffs of Dover. (man, i wish i knew someone who could play that song)its my inspiration to LIFE!!! well, that and Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits.

love playing street hockey and (super saiyan) baseball, among other sports. i miss bowling sooo much (so its not really a sport (i think its more of a game perosonally) but it does take just as much skill as any sport i know of and its soooooo much fun!))
